To comply with the provisions of the Youth Protection Act (JuSchG), children and adolescents under the age of 16—particularly at concert events at the UFO in the Velodrom—may only be admitted if accompanied by a legal guardian or custodial parent and if each has a valid admission ticket.
Under the Youth Protection Act, legal guardians (usually the parents) have the option of designating a responsible adult to accompany and supervise the minor during and after the event at the Velodrom. Your child may attend certain events if accompanied by this designated guardian.
The following important information applies when designating a guardian:
-
The designated guardian must be of legal age.
-
The designated guardian must be mature enough to responsibly provide your child with the necessary support in this situation.
-
Your child’s return trip after the event must be arranged.
-
The designated guardian must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs while accompanying your child.
-
The designated guardian may supervise no more than three children.
The form for granting parental authority in accordance with Section 1(1)(4) of the Youth Protection Act (JuSchG) can be found below.
This form must always be completed for visitors under the age of 16. For visitors over the age of 16, this applies only if the event ends after midnight.
